stem week 9 term 4

WALT problem solve as a team we had to make a chair out of paper and tape and it had to be 10 cm long and hold a stuffed toy. My group didn't really make it but next time we will do it I'm sure.
what went well?  it was a lot of fun  however it was quite challenging and what will you make for s.t.e.m.?

life cycles.

walt: find out animal life cycles so far w`ev learned the life cycles of frogs, pandas, and tuataras.
we also had to plan draft and recraft it was so much fun but next time I will try to make it longer
do you like animals?

Have you ever seen a tuatara in real life well i'm gonna tell you the life cycle

Of the tuatara

The egg.

It changes into a male when its cold or a female when its warm. It is laid underground.it is growing all the time.

Hatchling.

They are left to defend itself. it has three eyes. They eat insects.

Juveniles.

They doge adult tuataras trying to eat them. They also eat insects.they grow scales over they third eye 

Adult.

They sleep during the day and hunt at night.they eat insects and other tuataras. they are the oldest living reptile around.

Concluesion. 

And that is what a tuatara life cycle is.

Walt problem solve as a team. By making a bridge that can support two exercise books. My groups bridge could do it
we only had five minutes left.
We separated two desks and put the bridge on and
that was what we did for stem today. 
My next step is to see if i can do the same next time

ps we had to use 6 large sticks 15 small sticks
and 10 rubber bands. 

stem term4

this term for stem our task was to design a marble shute it was difficult for my group
because we only had a few minutes wasn't the best work of art but at least we tried a cause
it's trying that counts and that was what we did for stem.
ps next time we will do better i know it
pss i wonder what will happen next?

today for stem challenge we did the escape room the escape room is a
challenge where you have to find clues to escape in  the video game
if you don`t escape you will get eaten by a vampire but in real life if you
don`t escape your team  loses and the team  that escapes wins. we
did this to learn how to control are emotions which is hard to do.
what went well for my team was we almost escaped

we have learned to read  the holy bible and make a report out of it which seems abit

Walt write add that would get pepole to buy a product that you created. for example a game you made up or a nerf gun  its all up to you.

The part I enjoyed was when I made the product and the part I found challenging was when I had. To make a blog post and video about it and yeah thats my writeing.

Statistics

Today we did math for math we did statistics if you.

Don't know what statistics is it's when you get data from ether a pictograph

Tally chart or even bar graph each and every one of them are created to gather info on what you like.

Or have and thats what we  lerrned For maths. I enjoyed it all  it was challenging doing the bar graph.
